HistoryGuessr: The daily history guessing game

HistoryGuessr is a free browser game that tests how well you know when things happened. Every day there are new puzzles, the same for every player: put 5 historical events in order from oldest to newest, using as few attempts as you can.

How to play

  • Classic Daily: order 5 historical events from earliest to latest. You have 3 attempts, and after each one the events in the right spot turn green.
  • Picture Daily: order 5 photos, paintings or objects by the event they show. The captions stay hidden until the end, so the clues are in the pictures.
  • Endless Timeline: place events one at a time into a growing timeline until you make three mistakes.
  • Year Guess: guess the exact year of 5 events. The closer you are, the more points you score, up to 1,000 per event.
